IKEA was interested in achieving Silver LEED certification in some of their new locations and chose AirTest Demand Control Ventilation as a part of their approach. AirTest CO2 transmitters were installed in 12 new locations.

Results were very positive with a total reduction of energy consumption and its related costs by over 50%.

Demand Control Ventilation is a cost effective, simple solution to reduce wasted energy in HVAC systems.

One AirTest transmitter was installed to each RTU for a total of about 48 sensors per store covering 3.5 sq/m. The energy payback was under 2 years.
